Register Here

The date for the class will be February 28 and will start at 9:00am.  It will be held at Harrison County Hospital EMS training center, 1141 Hospital Drive NW, Corydon, IN 47115 “this is the first building to the left as you enter the hospital just beside the helipad.  The cost of the class will be $15 per person paid the day of and will be 6 to 7 hours.  This will not be a certified class since infant and children will not be covered.  The limit for the class is 10 to 20 people. I have an alternative date of March 14 if another class is needed.

The class will cover basic CPR for adolescents and adults, it will also cover basic first aid for stuff we might see along the river like: cuts, head injuries, moving injured patients, trauma, hypothermia, and drowning.  She is aware that we are not medical personnel and will try to cater to that fact, she will also show substitutes for item since we general do not carry medical supplies.

I want to emphasize that this in no way will equal what Penny is offering with the Wilderness First Aid/CPR and is not intended to.  This is a basic class intended to open people’s eyes and show them how they can assist if something was to happen.

If anyone has any question please let me know you can text of call me on my cell. 812-972-0648
