Bardstown’s Coachella

bardstown:

Bourbon City Street Concert 2014

The Bourbon City Street Concert returns this summer with an exciting lineup to bring music and fun to downtown Bardstown! This year’s FREE concert, which is held on the first block on North 3rd Street, will take place on Saturday, July 5, from 7 p.m. until late in the evening.

  • Headlining this year’s concert is an exciting up and coming duo in county music: Sundy Best!
  • A local, homegrown entertainer, Eddie Miles, will be performing a “Country Salute” to his musical heroes.
  • Pat Kirtley returns to the concert to once again awe the crowd with his tasteful guitar licks.
  • Ashley McBryde of Nashville might as well call Bardstown her second musical home with her raw talent and whiskey washed sense of humor.

Matthew Fogle will emcee the concert again this year.

The title sponsors of the free concert this year are Jim Beam and First Federal Savings Bank.  A number of other sponsors help to make this show happen as well.

The 2014 Bourbon City Street Concert is a family fun event, and everyone who loves music is invited to attend.  As always, there will be room in front of the stage for dancing, and there will be plenty of space on the street and sidewalks to just sit back and listen. Be sure to bring a chair. Beer and concessions will be available.

Mark it on your calendar … July 5th starting at 7 p.m. in downtown Bardstown!
